ONGD-FNEL is looking for an Administrative and Finance Officer (M/F/A)
Permanent contract – 32 to 40 hours/week
Work location: Luxembourg City
ONGD-FNEL is a non-governmental development organisation working in the field of education in Nepal, supporting children, young people and adults from some of the most disadvantaged communities.
Recognised by the Luxembourg State, ONGD-FNEL is looking for a motivated and versatile person to join and support its team.
Your role
- As an Administrative and Finance Officer, you will be responsible for the organisation’s day-to-day administrative and financial tasks, as well as some communication activities.
- You will be a key contact person for donors, volunteers and members of ONGD-FNEL.
- You will work closely with the staff team and in close coordination with the President and the Management Committee.
Main responsibilities include:
- handling the organisation’s day-to-day administrative tasks;
- monitoring accounting and financial operations;
- preparing and following up on administrative and financial documents;
- communicating with donors, volunteers, members and partners;
- supporting communication activities and the organisation of ONGD events and activities;
- helping to improve and organise internal procedures.
Your profile
- You have a Bac+2 qualification, ideally a BTS, preferably in Executive/Management Assistance, or an equivalent qualification;
- knowledge of the development cooperation sector is an advantage;
- professional experience in a similar position is appreciated;
- you have an excellent command of French and English, both written and spoken, as well as good writing and communication skills;
- knowledge of Luxembourgish is an advantage;
- you are comfortable with common IT tools and accounting software, especially Microsoft 365 and BOB;
- you are organised, independent, reliable and able to manage several tasks and priorities;
- you are flexible and enjoy working as part of a team;
- you are motivated by the values of development cooperation and want to contribute to a small, people-focused organisation.
