Since 2017, NGDO-FNEL has been working with SCLC in the village of Pharping, supporting training projects in innovative and sustainable farming techniques. They also target capacity building for disadvantaged young people, and adults, from rural areas.

SCLC's main objective is to create an environment that enables young people to develop their skills, work independently, explore the opportunities offered by the agricultural market and persuade them to stop taking insecure jobs in other countries.

Two SCLC representatives, the director and a former beneficiary, will be in Luxembourg from 24 April to 8 May 2024. They will be taking part in a number of events to meet the people of Luxembourg and raise awareness of the living conditions of Nepalese farmers, women and young people in rural areas, as well as to discuss the transition to more sustainable agriculture.

The ONGD-FNEL, in collaboration with the Cercle de Coopération des ONGD, is pleased to invite you to an exciting event on the theme of "Education for and through sustainable agriculture". The event will take place on 2 May 2024, from 12.30 pm, at 1 Rue St Ulric, 2651 Grund Luxembourg.

Theme: Education for and through sustainable agriculture
Cross-cutting themes: Environment; empowerment of women through education; child marriage.

The event will begin with a Nepalese meal and will consist of various presentations (by our Nepalese partner and a beneficiary), reflection activities and exchanges between participants.

Don't hesitate to register as soon as possible, as places are limited. This event is an opportunity to discover inspiring initiatives in the field of sustainable agriculture, education and women's empowerment. Join us for an enriching and meaningful exchange.
