Improvement of the quality and access to education for the children of Janata Primary School with Being Youth - Project 025
Project 025 / 2022 – 2023
The project aims to support Janata Primary School in Makwanpur District, at different levels, by integrating the expertise and experiences of several current ONGD-FNEL partners: Right4Children, Shikharapur Community Learning Center (SCLC ) and OLE Nepal. Our implementing partner for the project is the local organization Being Youth, founded in 2012.
The expected results of the project are:
- Teachers and school management committee have been trained and exposed to an innovative and child-friendly teaching method
- Students received appropriate school materials and supplies
- Classrooms, exteriors, playground and school kitchen are renovated and adequately equipped
- New technologies have been introduced in the school (tablets and e-library)
- Parents are made aware of the importance of education and are involved in the education of their children

The 135 students of the school, their parents, the teachers of the school and the School Management Committee.
Being Youth is a non-governmental organization, established on April 8, 2012. It aims to alleviate the impact of limited access to education and low quality healthcare among isolated and marginalized communities in Nepal.
The association regularly organizes dental care camps and women health care camps. These camps are often organized in local public schools, where Being Youth also provides support with school materials and equipment.
